The Echo in here is terrible....

There doesn't seem to be much Titan news lately. All I see are the Detroit Trio with their hands out for Billions and Billions of dollars of yours and my money!

It was so nice they showed up in their Executive Jets, just to remind me of how different they are from those of us they want to borrow money from. Pi**ed me off. They spene $20K on a short flight.

I think we should make sure that if we loan them the money it comes with terms. Like no exec jet, no multi-million dollar bonuses until the company is in the black! No golded parachutes, etc either.

Sorry, but I get this way when I talk to myself

True, I guess if they had managed themselves a little better in the past the would be in a pot of sh!t now. They should go ahead and file for bankruptcy and move through the issue. With the economy in a cess pool right now, I don't think even $1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000 dollar loan would help them out. I never have and never will understand big business I guess.

Complacency and apathy. Sadly too prevalent in our country.

Nancy Pelosi spends thousands of our dollars flying around too on her nice, comfy private jet - consistantly. I guess the only difference between her and the big three is at least they (big three) contribute something - she hasn't contributed anything since she's been in control of her Democratically controlled Congress for a couple of years now. Matter of fact, I can't think of ANYTHING she's done for this country. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

TitanII, I can't help you on that question. What it all says to me is that there are too many folks feeding off the public teat. Most all CEOs are grossly over paid. Most company Boards are inter-connected and just one "Ole Boys" networks that vote each other these exorbitant salaries and fringe benefits. I could possibly accept these salaries when a company is doing well and making lots of money. IMHO, salaries should be tied to company profits. Period.
Now that our country is in the "tank" I feel that now is the time for our leaders to stop using Gov. Exec Jets and start flying cattle cars with the rest of us. The exception in my mind is transport outside of the US when we need to assure their security and ability to maintain communications with Command Authority.

TitanII, I noticed yours as well. Did you work on them? Ever have to handle the hypergolic fuels? I heard they are really really nasty. If I recall correctly, there is a Titan site just South of Tucson, that is kept as a museum and open at times for visiting.

Mine is from my former life in the Navy.
