Production will not stop on the titan production lines untill mid year 2010 which will make the last titan made in canton to be a 2010 model. They are doing some expansion on the plant but the lcvs will be done mainly where the quest van is running now. The plans are now to build a light commercial van and a series of trucks like a dually with secveral different bed options. As for the space left where the titan is running the plan is now that the armada will continue to run on that line.

It's really nice to have someone that actually works for Nissan here. Let us know if we can help you out since most of us here have owned at least one Titan since 04. My 04 KC 4X4 has over 119,000 miles on it.

all this still irks me though. why abandon the production of the titan here in the U.S. and just send the Armada down to Saltillo, Mexico? i would imagine Armada sales are much less than the Titan's and keeping the Canton production facility strictly geared for trucks and commercial vehicles makes more sense. in the end i see this being a lose lose situation for nissan having to relocate the titan's production down to mexico YET maintaining a Titan HD line in Canton??? makes absolutely no sense! Carlos Ghosn needs a smack in the face! WTF are you doing Carlos??? pull Nissan out of North American racing, then fire the guy that made that decision, then agree to have Dodge build the titan? dude, Carlos, you need to lay off the smack buddy!

I have to agree with Hooli, this whole thing stinks. I can truthfully say that I won't own a Titan with a Hemi in it. From what my neighbors who own Dodges with Hemis in them are saying, the gas mileage is much worse, and the engine doesn't tow nearly as well. They are quite disappointed.

Well, some douche just tried to leave a comment on my video of Tom's burn out on Youtube so he was reading that blog. If this is true I consider it a sellout and will not purchase a Mexican built Dodge Titan. At that point I will either buy a Ford or a Tundra.
