I'm going with the Truck-Pal. My kids are too small to use the hitch step plus it's useless when I'm towing.

The Truck-Pal takes up more space but I believe it will be easier to use.

Hi gksmith, can you post a link or photos of the "Truck-Pal" so others can see which would work best for them?

Nissan now offers what they call a rear bumper step assist. Not sure if you can get it aftermarket or not but it does come on some of the new ones. If you can get it i think the option on the new truck is only 225 and it folds up under the driver's side rear bumper. Its pretty cool. check it out if you get a chance.
