Thumbs up 2007 Titan, Silverado, Tundra test.

Edmunds.com did a test on 2007 half ton pickups.

Fair test in my opinion.

I almost feel like the press is giving Toyota a "pass" because they are Toyota. The new Tundra to me, is almost a "too little, too late." I'm going to review the article some more...

Seemed fair it's all about change and the Titan hasn't......yet.

I'm still waiting for the 100,000,000 question to be answered which is price. I still think for most this will be the deal killer for the Tundra.

I am one of those where price will not be much of a factor, not because I am rich, but because of my present experience, which you would probably agree in my case is understandable.
I am willing to pay $40k plus tax for Double cab Limited 4X4, with TRD and tow package. Especially if I don't have to see the dealer once a month, I will keep my fingers crossed.

I'm with ya there Sky. I make a living with my truck and if it's not able to do the job it would have to go. Luckily for me and most other owners the Titan does do a good job so paying thousands more for a truck makes no fiscal sense. I especially don't like the loss of 4MPG that Edmund's posted for the Tundra compared to my truck because gas is going back up and I believe that when it does it's going to freak everyone out because it's going to go up a lot higher than we've seen to date.

I have to see the new Tundra in person to form an opinion on the looks... The commercials make it look bad a$$, but, it's still no Titan. They know that Titan took the market, and have to come out with something that will somehow challenge the mighty Titan. Toyota's have great engines and great service though... I'm still sticking with my Titan, and when Nissan decides to change the way the Titan looks, I'll trade my 2005 in for a new one. I get bored of my vehicles, and always like to have the latest and greatest.

Thanks for that link Ralph. I would really like to see a comparison of all 5 of the 1/2 ton pickups but, this is a good start.
