| V6 in a Titan Here ya go read it and think. Can't wait for the Chicago show. http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/auto...san/page1.html After owning a Titan and a Frontier I think that all you will have is a doggy Titan that doesn't get any better MPG than it does with the 5.6L. |

| I can see an application in a standard cab version with a manual transmission. Sort of a real "fleet" truck for deliveries, etc. I don't know if Nissan ever intends to offer as many variations as the new Toyota will. Red

Here are a couple of TTz links on potential diesels for the Titan: nissan titan diesel engine? Diesel Magazine Now if the Endurance were a heavy cast iron affair, and Nissan were to put out an aluminum V6, there would be more of a savings. But the Endurance is already aluminum so there wouldn't be much difference in weight. Maybe the next step will be a six speed automatic, as Toyota is doing with the new Tundra, but I don't know if this would be worthwhile as far as performance or fuel savings. |

| I'm with Red. I would like to see a standard cab version. I've seen some photo shop jobs and they look pretty slick. I don't particularly care for the long bed version of the regular cab Tundra. It just looks dorky. Maybe a standard 8' bed. Not 10'.
