Coming soon... consulting services
I am currently in the process of getting started doing IT consulting in my local area. A friend and I are planning to offer a one stop shop for small to medium size IT needs. Such as website set up, design, management, databases, etc.

The beauty of the internet is that it's virtual.

To the point: I've already completed one project that I've done for free as an example of what's possible. I'm looking to build a portfolio to show some competency (I'm not really that big an idiot...). I would like to find at least one more small project, that I will take on for free.

It needs to be deadline flexible. When I work for free, I do it as I have time. That said, I'm usually pretty good about responses and generally can get back to you in the same day.

This is the site that I set up for a client in Florida. http://www.ebc-webdirectory.com/ That's the beauty of the internet. He told me what he wanted, provided the logins and passwords needed, and viola website.

If you are interested in taking me up on this, please send me a PM and I'll be in contact.

I'm still working the bugs out of my website right now, but when it's ready I'll post that as another example of what's possible.

This is a TTz only offer! I get to pick the project... and I'm also looking for things locally. If you are involved with a non-profit or volunteer organization that would be the perfect project. Got a church group? etc.

I don't need any help but I do want to wish you all the luck in this endeavor. I do think that if you got to know the different Forum software you might be able to make some $ helping people get their websites up and running. Just an Idea.

Agreed.. To be able to code, and draw up websites would be a great job! You would never have to go work for Corporate America, you could work in the comfort of your own home.
