Not sure what tuner you have. I have it and it works like a charm. Mine is an 06 with the RF6, XM and Nav.

I know that I've read about at least one person who has it... and as I recall it works by plugging through the SAT interface somehow.

Me personally, I just plug my MP3 player into the AUX port...

Theres two different interface cables, one for non sat and one for sat. The sat cable was $35 higher, so you don't have to have sat in order to use a ipod. I do think you have to have one of the better OEM tuners though(?). The ipod does have to be 3ed gen at lease.

doesn't work too bad from all I have heard. However it is VERY LIMITED by the ???? poor radio we all have. Notice how you get all 6 out of 20 characters from radio stations brodcasting RDS? same same when you pay 200 bucks for the nismo ipod thingy. Not worth it to me, but to each his own. I run the cable right into the AUX jack. You might need a headphone booster amp to get better quality out of yours. I know my 2004 had poor volume. My 08 is superb.

Not sure what tuner you have or if we are even talking about the same thing, but with mine (06 RF6, XM, DVD & Nav) its displayed on the Nav screen and has 16 digits each, three separate lines. One of the R&R stations here was broadcasting in RDS as a try out for a bit and the information would stream across the bottom of my screen (again, if that is what RDS is). I have used the AUX port with a Otis MP3 player and a little GE cassette player with no problems with noise or volume. Now this is using it for Books On Tape and downloaded Audible Books, no music thou it wouldn't make any differences I would think.

having the NAV screen is wht makes it better for you. The rest of us only have the single bar screen in the HU itself. Life sucks trying to keep up with that info in there. I am a fan of not needing to take a hand off the wheel, just not satisfied with the Nismo offering for the cost.

Just my 2 pesos.

No argument from me on the cost, its absurd for $2-3 worth of wire and a few plug ins. I'd like to see more then the 16 digits (theres plenty of room) as a lot of titles and artiest names requires more then that.
