I got wood!!!

I installed a wood kit today and learned a couple lessons. Lesson one....3M tape will instantly weld itself to anything it even gets near. Lesson two...Practice this kind of thing on someone else's car first Lesson three.....read the instructions. In the end, even though I made a couple mistakes I am happy with the way the kit looks. It's a vast improvement over stock IMHO. I also got some carbon fiber B pillars but I am still staring at them trying to decide if I like them. It's a two piece kit so the part of the B pillar on my rear suicide doors would remain factory black. The pillars were a gift so it may be difficult to check and see if there should have been 4 pieces or if I can buy additional pieces. Any opinions or suggestions pro or con are truly welcome.

That carbon fiber kit looks to be a bit of a "mis-match" when seen next to the wood. I'd have to look at it in person to tell for sure.

Although, I don't particularly like wood in the car myself, I can see where it might be a real selling point for some folks. It does dress up your truck. For me, I think I'd go with a C-F kit.

That looks nice! Wonder why the factory didn't make it an official option?

What's so funny? I still own one of those.1956, short bed, step side, Cheby with the original straight 6 all the way down to the oil bath air filter. Remember points, condensers, floats and jets?
