You mean you guys don't have this on yours? It's nice. Especially when you have some jerk-off behind you who won't dim their lights. The compass is nice too as well as it telling you which direction you're heading. As far as the Homelink crap, don't use it since I don't have a garage door.

Most people think would say that jerk-off is me until I turn on my hi-beams. It never fails one guy moves over then turns on his highs. I just slow down and let them pass again then flash my highs and they never do it again.

In my '05 SE, that mirror was part of a package. I can honestly say I've never noticed it dim for lights behind me. Then again, I've never been blinded by them either. What I'm trying to say is I've never noticed it in action. Now that I have a camper shell on back, there is even less of a chance of noticing it as I now have two tinted windows between those lights and my mirror.
On mine the compass and temp are indicated in a panel in the overhead. Separate from the mirror. They are at an akward angle for me, so I rely on the GPS most often.
