2004 – 2008 Titan And Armada; Front Passenger Carpet Gets Wet When The A/c Is On

Another one of those can you believe they still have this problem with the Titan 4 years later?

IF YOU CONFIRM The front carpet on the passenger side (right side) gets wet when using the A/C. ACTION Install an extension hose on the A/C evaporator drain. If the water leak has damaged the front carpet, replace it.

Wouldn't it be a whole lot simpler and cheaper to send the truck out from the factory with a longer hose in the beginning?

I got a question bout this. kind of. Has there been any problem with the driver side carpet getting wet. i just bought my truck a few weeks ago and the carpet is wet. it smells like musty water. i pulled the carpet up and put some rags underneath to dry it out. so ill see if it stays wet. but i dont understand where it could be coming from

Read a post awhile back on one of the sites about this. Seems that some body caulking on a panel seam was missing if I remember right. This was on the drivers side.

Don't remember for sure, but I don't think so. Seams the guy had it at the Dealer and they found the problem after awhile.
