Since the Ol'Coot is bringing home an 08 I thought I'd throw together some FYI stuff so he'll know the problems that Nissan knows about.
2008 Titan (A60)
Manual A/C ONLY
IF YOU CONFIRM:
An Applied Vehicle has poor or no A/C cooling due to evaporator freeze-up and has a "Two Control Dial System" controller (control assembly) like the one in Figure 1 below
NOTE:
The customer may state the incident;
• Exhibits as a no or low airflow from vents condition.
• Only occurs after a long drive with the A/C on continuously.
ACTION:
Replace the Control Assembly with the applicable one from the Parts Information section of this bulletin.
Refer to Section VTL, CONTROL UNIT Removal and Instation, in the applicable Electronic Service Manual if necessary.
