Hey Squid,

The W200 (which I have) and the W205 are basically the same, with the W205 having integration for Alpine's newer gps units. I love my W200, Ipod connection is fast and the menu's are very intuitive. I have played with a W205 a bit and it seems to be set up very similar. You can find some really good deals on the W200's right now also.

The red light on the vent is for the alarm. The truck sounds great. I like the 205 because of the new navi. system... If you don't need nav. definately go for value and get the 200 or there's the pioneer, Kenwood and some other make a good HU.

LOL, good one... you got any night pics w/o flash of the 205? and a few with the nav screen up? that would be cool to see. and a couple from the driver's perspective looking at the radio.

I just got in from out of town, so I'll go and p/u the truck today and get you night pics. for you. It looks cool, although I would love to get the dash lights to match. I don't like the orange. BTW did you ever get the new speedo assembly in?

yeah, i think all blue would be cool like the toyota minivan dashlights and radio lights. never got the stupid speedo dash gauge as they never charged my account so i never got it. did you?

No, still thinking about it. Didn't care for the seperate control for the dash. Here are the night pics. of the radio from the drivers side.
