Placement of replacement subwoofer.

So, has anyone looked inside the console?? I mean it looks like it is deeper than what the box is from the inside. I'm wondering if a 6" Bazooka would fit in there? And if not where would be a place to put it? Lastly, is the stock sub active or passive?
