I've had great luck with the Dillon brand of progressive reloading machines. Excellent quality, lifetime (yours) guarantee. The use of interchangeable Die heads, makes caliber change-out easier. No need to constantly re-adjust your dies.

Yeah, the M14's are also really nice. A Springfield Socom is on my want list. lol.

Funny you should mention that Red, I've actually been looking at the Dillon presses and tumblers. I was looking at the 550 and the 650. I'll probly buy one later this summer and start reloading.

There is a local store that sells HSM .223 for a pretty good price, it's once fired military lake city brass. So far I've kept all my brass so I have a nice little stock for reloading.

If you do reload any military brass for the first time; take care as the primers are crimped in and can be a bugger to get out.

For all my reloading, I used a manual primer punch so I could remove and inspect the pocket prior to tumbling and reloading.

I used a Lee hand primer and would reprime my cases as I watched TV. Pretty much an automatic operation if you do it with a modicum of care.

All I ever used the press for was sizing, filling with powder, seating the bullet and either roll or taper crimp as appropriate.

That's a lot of guns in a short period of time. You are probably on someone's watch list now.

I don't think I have ever seen a bolt action shotgun before. Is it rifled for slugs?

LOL.....yer probably right, Patriot Act will allow good ol' Uncle Sam to take a quick look at Rob before they realize he's harmless

Yes the barrel is rifled for slugs. It was made as a hunting gun, has scope mounts and 3 rounds is the legal limit in most states for rounds in the gun.
