Yeah I figure I had better get this time in before it's not "COOL" to go fishing and hang out with dad. I enjoy every minute that I get to spend with him outdoors. My dad didn't really spend a whole lot of time with me when I was young, so I don't want the kid to have the same kind of childhood that I did.

yeah, it all depends matt, I don't recall ever really going through a "don't wanna hang out with Dad" phase, he didn't pester me to hang out nor did he NEVER do anything with me, good/healthy balance I guess ...... my youngest brother is a different story, he never wanted to hang out with pops, not until now anyway, he's 21 now so he takes pops to a bar every once in a while ........ guess it kinda depends on dad/environment/friends/etc....
