We've been doing both but mostly from the shore. Trout isn't biting might need to switch to Bass. I'm going camping the end of the month if I don't go to China so we might be going to Lake Skinner. Need to get a little camping in cuz next month I'm going to be gone for awhile, leaving for China then off to Germany back to Seattle and then home.

jeez, might as well sell the altima, give the titan to the wife, and just rent a car for the days you're in town...

Trout

I use a Pflueger President Ultra Lite combo, with 2lbs line. I have good luck with the tiny Rebel Crawfish crankbaits in Natural colors. Was told by locals from Albert Pike,Ar. that PowerBait Salmon eggs were all they'd hit. Nothing I know of has ever turned down a crawdad!

Well, we have a superb fish market in Seattle, which is only 16 miles from my house as the crow flies. Never been skunked there, and its a whole lot cheaper than attempting to catch them in the wild ;-), better selection. I can get great Salmon or Halibut there too.
