| No doubt, I can tell you that the Stillen Supercharger on a Titan Dynoed out at 387 hp and 418 ft/lbs of torque which is an increase of 110 hp and 84 ft/lbs over stock at the wheels. That's about 425 hp and 475 ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel.) but not the answer that you're looking for but it's a start. |

| Well, you can figure that the Stillen tune was/is the "safety tune" for the truck running those numbers. I'd expect it could probably handle 25-30% more before people started throwing transmissions.

| Still don't have a number for the answer but I have found this stuff. Since the RE5R05A is a Jatco tranny http://www.jatco.co.jp/ENGLISH/PRODUCTS/stepat.html#fr I'm pretty sure it's the last tranny on the list since it's the only 5 speed listed and if it's also used in the skyline I'd say it's pretty hefty. And this is what I found out about tranny fluid changes on the Jatco trannys. http://www.jatco.co.jp/ENGLISH/PRODUCTS/at_qa.html And this is what makes a Nissan racing transmission http://www.importperformancetrans.com/nissanauto.shtml http://www.importperformancetrans.com/faqs.shtml But here's the funny thing, I can't find any numbers on the old school tranny's like the turbo 400 that have been used for decades in domestic performance cars either. |
