Sprayed Bedliner is turning Grey

Can anybody help me out here? Has anybody heard of this happening, and will Nissan cover the cost to get it re-sprayed? A lot of people of TT have said yes, but, I was wondering if any of you have had first hand knowledge of this. Thanks.

Yeah, Nissan will cover this under warranty. Same thing happened to mine. They had to order the kit. There is a TSB out on it and states they have to remove your tie down rails put on this cleaner and reapply the bedliner. Scary to think that some yahoo at the dealership has never done this before is going to experiment on my truck??? I haven't went back to have it done yet..... Let me know how yours turns out....

yep, i heard it takes about a week to do... that's 2 things i've been hit with by having my titan. first it was the cheap a$$ breaks they put on my truck in which i had to get replaced, now it looks like they cut corners and sprayed on a cheap bedliner.

Did you do it yourself? I'm not going to; they are going to fix this. Thanks for the information though.

No, I had the Nissan dealer do it. Tell them to order new utilitrack bolts ahead of time. I was in a rental for a week and a half because it took them a few days to get new bolts in. Takes them about 3-4 days to complete the whole process.

They won't do this unless the bed shows signs of turning milky white or discoloration on large areas of the surface.

This will likely take you a few days to get the okay for, since they had to take pics of my bed, email them to Nissan, and wait for a response on how to proceed.

I must be in the minority on this issue. My bed has turned gray in some spots. It is exposed to the elements much of the time. It is a bed liner, so I expect it to discolor somewhat. Now if it bubbles, which I hear has happened, then I will do something.
