I sure hope I don't start having those problems... I bought the 100k mile extended warranty, and have about 6k left on my manufacturer warranty.

I really do you wish you luck.
I hope you are right. My 2000 Tundra was a Limited version, but did not have near the fancy bells and whistles that my Titan has. My Tundra didn't even have auto locks or a key fob, which is a cause of some my problems.
When I look at the list of my reoccurring problems, most of them are related to the bell and whistle features.
I usually go for the LE version in trucks because I want leather seats. I think they are perfect for a work truck. I think they are more comfortable than cloth,
are more durable and are definitely easier to clean.
My Tundra was made in the first month of production and I was happy, I hope they still have the same quality control.

You could always get the basemodel truck, and have the dealer install katskinz or similar leather seats. They are better quality than the factory ones anyway, and either a similar or lesser price.

The Nissan dealer I got my Titan through had a SE they had sent out for a custom leather job, and it was extremely nice and plush. Like 5x as nice as the LE leather. Made the LE leather look like imitation, in comparison. $1500 was added to the window sticker. I'm not a fan of leather, but if it had all of the other options I was searching for, I would have bought it. And if my cloth seats ever get too worn out, as an individual, I figure I could get this done for a couple of grand.

I just throw Neoprene seat covers on them so what they are made of means little to me. Now dependability is another matter and if I was Sky I would have gotten rid of that truck a long time ago no matter what the make or model.

Got the Titan fixed today, at least I hope so. They replaced the same module
as before, this makes the 3rd time. They seem to think that the module is to sensitive to shock/ potholes, etc.
To be on the safe side, they replaced both of my key fobs, which required reprogramming.
At first the service manager had doubts about what I told him, but when he took the keys out of ignition and the windows went down, the doors locked and the horn started beeping, he just looked at me and shook his head.
Only took them less than an hour to fix, but it took me 3 hours round trip.
They also fixed my endemic problem with the creaking windows and fished out my seat heater switches from the center console. They also replaced my pedal adjuster switch which was hanging down.
Stopped by Toyota and they said that Toyota will release the specs. on the Tundra on Jan.7.
As of now, everything is working, only have a slightly squeeking center console, which I will get fixed when it gets a little worse, which I know it will from past experience.

They got you on the dealership payroll yet Sky? Sorry to hear about all your problems. If it acted up again, I think I'd give it up and file LEMON too.

I did that with the 04 and was a PIA. It took 4 months. I will get rid of this truck as soon I as I find a suitable replacement.

SKY - sorry to here about all the issues you have had and are having with your truck. I purchased in July 06' a used 05 Titan LE loaded with 9500 miles on it from the dealer. I have the same squeek or rattle from the back seat off and on and it drives me crazy, but goes away if someone sits in the back. I've had the same issue with the windows going down and the doors locking and the dealer didn't believe me until the service guy himself tried my remote. Sure enough they replaced my remote (wrong one btw it had a trunck opener on it) and reprogrammed both remotes. They said the remote had a short in it. And I have a rattle somewhere in the center console, I have a center shift model. The last issue I have with my truck other than the spray in bedliner turning white in color is the leather seats are coming apart. The edges of the seats are coming off and you can see the beige looking leather underneath, but only on the edges and not in the center. Now that I kinda bashed my own truck I will write a seperate thread stating what I like about my truck....
