Yup, after 7 years and 143,000 miles the Queen has found someone worthy of taking the reins of her 04 so we'll be shopping for a new 2011 Titan. (And I just bought the first set of plugs, )

Right now all I know is that it'll be Fast Black CC this time and she wants heated seats. What we'll end up with package wise i don't know because she just dropped this on me this morning.


I think the new wheel hub assemblies, front axle U-Joints, tires and Driveshaft on the 1 ton told her I'd be driving that for at least another 100,000 miles so a new Titan wouldn't be depriving me.

Any suggestions or warnings concerning, models, packages and components for 2011 would be apreciated.

I lost track, how did the refurb on the 1 ton turn out? If that engine on the 1T starts to feel anemic, might I suggest you contact this dude to build you one of his Big Dog engines:

CONGRATS! Need pics!

I stopped by the Nissan Dealership in Wichita and all they had on the lot was 3, 2010 KC and 1, 2011 CC. All were X or S models and Non 4X4. I didn't talk to a Sales Person but it seemed strange that they were so barren.

Be sure to check out the CC long bed. Although I have the KC long bed, I sometimes wish I had gotten the CC long bed.

you'll love the CC... i have a 05, and still love it. this is the first vehicle that i've ever owned where i didn't sell it in the first 2 years.

I can understand choosing a CC IF you need to carry other folks around on a fairly regular basis. In my case, I rarely need to do that. For me the KC is really sufficient. I like that I have decent bed size, decent cab size all in a shorter package. Here there is enough road and parking lot congestion that its nice the Titan KC is as maneuverable as it is. I'm always confused to see other folks driving these huge 3/4 or 1T PUs around town with just the driver in it. (Exception understood for working trucks)
So this all boils down to me sticking with a KC if I were to buy another PU.
