Hello new to the forums here, any I recently purchased a 2011 Nissan Titan 4-door 4X4 with all the extra's on 11/24. Anywho, yesterday 1/5 I went to target when I came back the alarm went off and I quickly turned it off and then I look at the truck and I realized that in the front bumper was dented. It was those Target's that have 2 floors the bottom one is the parking and the top is the main store, the bumper is now dented in and scratched I think it could've been a car that was parked in-front of me that somehow crashed that bumper. So I quickly rush into that target and tell them the situation and they told "theirs nothing we can do but we will check the security camera recording's and get back to you" yeah right I haven't gotten a call back and I might sue them since it happen on a Target location!. So now I'm stuck with a dented bumper, and have no way to fix it because Target is being IGNORANT! and not even checking their 'Security cameras'. This truck cost me over $44,340 dollars!!!!. I was going to put this in a insurance claim but I don't think they'll help because what proof do I have, I was also looking into going to the dealer I purchased it and have them put a new bumper but it might be costly. I was also looking into just painting the bumper because it has a white color of where that clueless driver was looking at, is their a touch up paint for it a site? It's factory black. Has this happened to anyone? Please help!. Thanks.

Yup, people in parking lots suck. Go to an autobody shop and see what they say.

It's too late for this to help now, but this is exactly the reason I always park waaay out and away from the rest of the "Great Unwashed". People in parking lots scare the h3ll out of me.

Perhaps you should put your information request in Writing and Mail it to them. They tend to respond to written formal requests better. Be civil, don't rant. In the end your insurance will cover it after your deductible. Insurance companies don't seem to care about "fault" anymore, just $$.
