ARGH stupid A/C

Another problem...

So it's been hovering in the low 100's these past two weeks and my A/C stopped working. I took it in this morning to see what ever the problem is could it be taken care of with my extended warranty? Just go off the phone with the service advisor and they said that they checked out the system and found I had no leaks and evacuated the system to get all the moister out. He said it's blowing cooler than it was this morning? It was cooler this morning because it was around 68 degrees outside so it was sucking in cooler air. I let him know that during the day it's blowing hot air....

Do you guys know if you evacuate the system it'll fix and blow cool air again?

Oh... and while they had it up on the rack they found I had two blown rear seals and a power steering hose is leaking. I have to hold off on the hose, too expensive, but the seals are covered under my warranty

That should help the AC. Most AC will not spec out a particular temperature it will achieve. Generally only a Change in Temperature" will be the specification. So if you have a 30 deg Delta T, you would get 70deg on a 100deg day. 58 on an 88deg day for example.

Aren't the hoses covered too?
