Ya'll aren't gonna believe this .... my axel seal is leaking again. That engine "No Leak" oil additive lasted 8 months, however .... soooooo, I'm gonna squirt another bottle of it into the rear-end and see what happens.

It would have lasted longer if you would have drained the inferior gear lube out first and then added the same amount of no leak......................

I wonder if packing the pumpkin with sawdust would seal up them crappy seals? .... or maybe the fibers from banana peels? ... When I was in High School, I worked at a Ford Dealership in the Used Car Dept. and the Used Car Manager once told me that stuffing bananas in a worn out standard transmission would make it shift like new long enough to sell the car ...... regardless .... fixing the seal is out of the question! .... I'll let all the gear oil leak out into the ground water, poisoning innocent children and Honeykeeper .... it's Nissan's fault!

.... come on now Red, you can't tell me that you've made it all the way to the ripe old age of 80 or 90 or whatever and have never heard of any less than main-stream temporary repair methods like using panty-hose for a water pump belt ?? .... Reach deep back into that vast memory bank of yours and toss me one out just for grins!

I do seem to recall using a tin can and a coat hangar to repair an exhaust pipe. Trouble was the tin cans burned out every six months or so and I kept having to replace them... the last can was still there when I sold the car.

Back in the early 80's, I had a '72 Buick Skylark ... and every year, I could never get all the important electrical stuff required for the State Inspection all working at the same time ... blinkers, horn, wipers, headlights and such .... I could get them all to work, just not all at the same time .... I had pennies, nickles and dimes stuck in the fuse box .... back then, I was a Skoal dipper .... I remember times when I'd pull up to 7-11 to buy a can of Skoal and having to decide which electrical feature I didn't need because my money was running just a tad short ....
