| I'm not sure if it's started in Alabama yet, but the gasoline that we're making at our Delaware refinery it formulated with a higher RVP (Reid Vapor Pressure) ....and I've heard rumors that RVP will effect MPG....this is something that can probably be researched through GOOGLE, but I'm semi-busy right now.

California has been running reformulated fuel for years and is part of the cause for the higher prices out here too! I also think they have two versions, one for winter and one for the rest of the year. Reformulated Gasoline The EPA requires reformulated gasoline (RFG) in a number of ozone-nonattainment areas. Federal RFG must be oxygenated year-round to 2.1 percent by mass oxygen, average. In addition, the EPA requires gasoline in some carbon monoxide-non-attainment areas to be oxygenated during the winter months to a minimum of 2.7 percent by mass oxygen. Finally, California's Air Resources Board (CARB) requires a different RFG throughout California. California RFG must be oxygenated year-round in those areas where federal RFG also is required. A recent regulatory change eliminated the requirement for oxygenated RFG in most other areas of California. From their effect on energy content, the oxygenates in RFG would be expected to lower fuel economy a few percent. However, RFG specifications require other compositional changes as well. The combined changes are so complex that it isn't feasible to estimate their effect on energy content. Fortunately, there are several direct comparisons of the fuel economies of RFG and conventional gasoline. They show that the average fuel economy of RFG is 2 percent to 3 percent lower."

| My MPG went down like Enron's stock back at 3K miles when I did my first oil change (don't know what that had to do with anything) It slowly creep up than drop and keep in this cycle for a long time. The ECO3 help a little with HWY driving but city wise it's still low. At around 20K is when it steadily rised. I'm now avg. about 13.5 for the last month or so. One thing I've stop doing is reseting my ECU, seems like it wipe out the good with the bad.

| My mpgs dropped since last year - I acan't figure it out. I did change the tires, but I don't know if that can be the cause of a 4-5 mpg drop on my highway mileage. (that's cdn gallons) but it is still a lot. I am going to have my dealer really look it over in a couple of weeks. My only other problem is it sounds noisy under the truck when I hit bumps and there seems to be a slight grinding sound. The dealer said I was hearing things. |

| My last 3 tanks averaged out to 19.34 mpg in my Titan ..... and the last 2 tanks in the Z-28 averaged 26.2 mpg .... but I drive on long backroads at about 50 to 60 mph mostly.
