I average 15-16.5mpg and on the open road running around 60-65 mph will get 17-19.7. 19.7 was my best so far.

Ok, so there has been a slight thread-jacking. I will answer this easy like for you. Nope.No politician has control over the price of tea in China, or the oil barrel in the open market. OPEC came out yesterday saying they are willing to come in at a floor price around $55 USD per barrel, and FukStik Chavez demanded $60USD per. I just love driving right past Citgo. The good news is the conveinent find in the gulf of mexico, canada, and of course the tree huggers deluxe AW. The even better news over time is that the Middle East has at most 30 years left. Once that is done those ????birds will have to pay through the teeth just like us. No more $. 25 gas for the sheiks. That is why they are spending money like water now to make it a tourist destination again. They know they are running out of time to give the globe anal lobotomies. (sp?)

Wrong brother, I stayed with 33 inch tires, only wider. Shouldn't cause that big a deal. Maybe 1 mpg. I don't run around at 70 plus so the drag won't effect much. I will let you know. Thats why I stayed clear of the 35's everyone else is getting! I like my power and MPG!

Last summer I avereaged 15 to 18mpg while hauling my Honda in the bed. Around town here, I average only 13 to 14mpg. I don't make too many highway trips, but when I do, the MPG jumps up to the 18mpg range. This truck really needs to get into 5th gear and stay there in order to get decent mileage.

My truck wouldn't get 18 MPG going downhill on the back of a tow truck. Still, considering the power and capabilities, it does better than I expected, about 15-15.5, highway. That's on a par with the old Ford w/4.9 liter 6 and a 5 spd manual. So I really can't complain.

Hey TT, not travelling around the world, LOL. Its called a 108 mile round trip drive to work!! The Titan is past 75 thousand now...still getting 16-17mpg (I generally get 400 miles out of a tank and fill up with 24 gallons). Most of my driving is on the interstate (probably 75% on the interstate with 25% in-town/city driving).
