Go with the AEM... I assume your talking about the Brute Force CAI, correct?

The only thing I've heard about them is they are pretty much the same and better results when combined with an exhaust.

Welcome to the site!

Same to you on the safe and Happy Holiday!

Welcome aboard. If you can tell us a little more about your setup, we can give you a better answer.

An intake will require an after market exhaust for best results.

I also moved this thread to the general area where more folks are likely to see it.

I have the Framboost ($259) which is pretty much the AEM and I'm happy. (Love the dry Filter.) Swarren is right if you put just the intake on you'll notice a lowend power drop but install an exhaust with it and wow!

Here's a link to the install for the AEM and the Framboost and welcome to the site!

Yep, the dry filter is way better than going with the K&N... The oil can destroy the MAF.

Another vote for AE. I too have the FramBoost (same setup as the AEM different name) like Squid-wurd along with the Banks

Can't beat the dry filter...stay away from the oil filters!

Welcome to the Forum.

Although, I don't have a CAI I've been partial to the AEM. Also, if you intend to do any mudding, AEM makes an emergency blow out coupling to prevent your engine from sucking water into the engine.

From the AEM website:

Air Bypass Valve for Cold Air

Waterproof Your Cold Air System! AEM’s patented Air Bypass Valve virtually eliminates the chance of hydro-lock if the filter of your AEM Cold Air induction system is submerged in water.

Virtually eliminates chance of intake system ingesting water if filter becomes submerged
Installs along upper portion of AEM intake systems with minor modifications
Patent #6,394,128
Complete hardware and installation instructions included
