Problems.....

My titan has had major problems the last few days and will be towed to the dealer later today. It started on friday when the truck wouldnt start, dead battery so we got that taken care of and kept driving it around. Well yesterday it wouldnt start and the battery was fine so me and my uncle started diving into it to see if we could fix it. While we were tearing things apart we found many a problem. Here is the list:

-140 amp main fuse on the battery is blown
-Electrical connection from water pump is busted, can see some type of circuit board inside.
-Swaybar link is snapped and bar is hangind down
-Ground wires are rusted and not making a full connection

We finally got the truck started and I was going to drive it into the dealer but the truck started idling really rough and revving by itself. So we decided the best course of action will be a tow.

Those are all the new ones we found to add to the other problems that I have known about since the wreck.

-Windshield washer broken
-Temp gauge broken
-Interior pieces not fitting correctly
-Passenger side window not sealing correctly

Plus some body damage.

Now I'm gonna be spending awhile without my truck........

Could be results of having been stuck out in the storm. Snow and water got up into places that it normally doesnt.

The starter is located up on top of the motor, beneath the intake manifold. Chicks blew out her starter by filling it with mud....

hmm...

So....we got the nissan 24-7 roadside assistance thing when we bought the truck...NOT!! The dealership apparently did not register it. So after calling dealerships etc..we discovered that AAA was the best way to go. So now I'm waiting for the tow truck.........

We told you that all that super duty talk would come back to haunt you. This is why when I go looking at new vehicles I always take the bike or the vette. Those two are secure with their place in the stable and you'll also notice that when I post about new trucks I always mention keeping the 04. (With that Can Bus I think it can intercept my wireless signals) I love you 04 Titan!

I wonder how this is going to go since it was bought, wrecked and repaired in Cali, Good Luck!

So....they replaced the fuse and got it running without throwing codes or anything. The temp sensor was just missing, and the wacher nozzles were just not connected....a result of the bodyshop I took it to sucking. One swaybar link was missing completely and one was snapped in half. All parts should be in and they should be putting them on the truck so I can get it back next week sometime....
