Nissan Titan Front Grille Removal

This is really pretty simple once you get the grille off and see how it all works but the service manual leaves a lot to be desired so I thought I'd post some pics to clear up the process and hopefully save you some time.
I've also included a drawing of the grille and clips and fasteners on the Titan

Removal: There are four of these clips on the top and 3 on the bottom. The 4 on the top are easy to see and get at but the 3 on the bottom are set back and you either have to have a really long straight slot screwdriver to get at them head on or like me a really short one so you you can reach up from the bottom to turn them.

When they pop they're released so just slide them out and put them in a safe place.

Installation: Position the bottom 3 clips in the grill so the catches on the clip are at the top and bottom.

Position the grill in place and then snap each clip in. Now you can put the clips in the top the same way and snap them in. (The sad part is is if you knock one out they like to find their way to the skid plate, LOL)

Nice write-up. When I started to switch over my grill, I anticipated a major hassle. At lest that's my normal experience in dealing with trim pieces.

In reality, it was a snap. Far easier than the install of my aftermarket billet grill which involved brackets and long screws.
