My trucks in the shop now and I asked them to paint mine and they were against that. The painter's both came out and looked at it and said they could, but probably wouldn't last. Only certain plastics they paint. They said the plastic above the hood the cowl had some kind of inhibator in it??? How are the trucks with painted cowl's holding up? I use back to black on all my plastic.

I've try a few products including Back to Black. While it does look good right after you do it, it goes back to faded look after a couple of weeks. Finally just painted the thing color match.

Looks good, guess I'll break out the paint gun and give it a try. I wanted to color match the rear bumper anyway for the Queen so what do I have to loose.

Hey! I ought to paint the mirrors and door handles while I'm at it.

BBF does have a nice lookin truck!
