Yep this says it all. I was at a customers place of business and there was painting going on. The painter asked if I could move the truck, so I did. Didn't matter, from 50' away I have red over spray all over my paper plate smoke gray truck ..... Gotta go a get the truck detailed and buffed Oh well STUFF happens....

Man that sucks! I've been removing tar every week from all the road paving going on around Wichita, guess they got a lot of Gov't money to spend.

that does suck......I have tiny, cream-colored specks on mine as well, dumbarse painters at work had multiple cars move around the building while painting and still managed to get overspray on all cars, including the owner's supercharged SRT10....sucks.

So I took it to a local body shop. Clay bar yeah right, he laughed. He has to clay and polish the truck and replace just about every pc. of molding along with the new billet and bug shield. It's on the windows and step bars. So how much$$$.... Try 3300.00 and that's not including the black plastic on the top of the bed or removing the bed to get between the cab and the bed.... And I can't get a hold of the painter..... I called my insurance company and told them what's going on. I'll post pics. later.

Geeze some guys have all the luck. Sorry to hear about the overspray. maybe your insurance company can help you out. Keep us posted.

Geez, that's not overspray that blatant disrespect for other people. Not sure about where you live but here small claims court has a limit of $4000 and no lawyers allowed so take lots of pictures, get names of people and if nothing else sue the guy.

California is $5000, and no lawyers. Only bad thing is that the judge's ruling is final ... no appeal, no retrying in normal court. More risky if a complex case, but after seeing some of the tv court shows, and how they jump to conclusions, I duno ... but then again I've been on a couple of juries and was shocked at how some of the members were so stubborn and just wouldn't weigh the facts.

I guess your insurance company will be the ones having to sue the contractor though.

The painter left me a message last night, I have to call him back this morning. Here are some pics.
