| Right, but is that the only one, or is there a second fuel pump up front. Someone told me that all fuel injected, or at least now, all fuel injected cars have two pumps but none that I've ever worked on have.

| Sorry, guess I didn't make that clear enough. Yes, there is a single fuel pump. Most fuel injected setups have only a single in-tank pump. I don't know of any OEM setup that utilizes anything other than a single in-tank pump. Even with big HP setups, you still normally use only one pump. You can use a fuel pump controller to pump more or less, or at least make the return line bigger to keep a stoich idle - but you still generally use just one pump. |
