Cooling fan....?

Is there a kit out there with everything needed to remove the stock clutch fan from the motor and install an electric fan?

I used to do this on my older hot rods and it would free up a noticeable amount of horsepower....

I think there is at least one company out there that makes a replacement fan. Do a search on electric fan to find the threads. I looked on the site here and didn't find any info.
So I checked Summit Racing:

SE, Cooling & Heating, TITAN, NISSAN, 2005 - summitracing.com

This one should do ya!

We had a guy back in 04/05 called The head that did this along with nitrous. As a matter of fact he was the first one I know of that even had his tranny worked on. Anyway, at the track he found no difference by adding the aftermarket fans which surprised a lot of old school types.

Hmmmm.... A lot of variables at the track... I know on my 81 Trans AM it made a Huge difference and I could feel it instantly.
I hate the big WhOoSh sound the clutch fan makes.

If it cost $4-500 to convert it over, I don't think that will be on the top of my priority list.... Stereo first!!
