Just got my truck back from the exhaust shop...

I didn't want my truck loud AT ALL so....

The guy was out of stock on the Magnaflo's I wanted.....
I ended up with 2 no name Turbo mufflers, one right after the other on the single stock exhaust pipe and then he put a 12" SS Magnaflow tip on.

It sounds PERFECT for me!!! Its very quiet but it has a deep tone and sounds great.
If you don't like it loud you might want to try the double muffler thing!?

I'm sure these mufflers won't last like the Magnaflow's but for $136 installed with the tip I can afford to replace it again!!

EDIT: Just talked to the guy that did this and he said the mufflers are AP big mac turbo mufflers.... He showed them to me before he installed them and they looked like the XLErator turbo mufflers here AP Exhaust Products | Products | Mufflers

Keep us informed if you experience any problems resulting from the increase in back-pressure that MIGHT occur from the doubled mufflers. Yours is the first such install I've heard of so you are in uncharted waters as far as I know.

I'm glad you achieved the sound level you wanted. Is it quieter than stock?

No, its a little louder than stock, but just a little. I Had one of these mufflers on a Dodge Stratus a long time a go and it got louder the longer it was on so I'm guessing these will too.
As far as back pressure!?!? I would kinda guess both these mufflers to be equal to the stocker... these are pretty small compared to the stock muffler.
I'll let you know

OK.... Since you had me a little worried about too much back pressure AND I wanted a little more sound, I took my truck back and had them remove one of the mufflers......It really sounds good and has a deep growl to it.

Is the Banks alot louder? I've been thinking about a Flowmaster for a deeper exhaust note.
