I have a 2007 Nissan Titan that when at idle i can hear a tapping noise. The dealer told me that it was the fuel injectors and that this was normal. Anyone have any ideas??

I also hear it on my 2004.

Others have reported similar noises. If the noise continues, take it in to the dealer and have a warranty ticket written up for them to investigate. This way you have a paper trail in case it was something else that causes it to make that noise. Let us know if you find it to be something other than the injectors.

Yup, tick, tick, tick...................My 02 frontier also did it. Come to think of it my Harley Roadking does it too. If you take a long handled screwdriver and place it on the injector and then put your ear to the handle you can hear it real good. I have a cheap automotive stethoscope I used. No worries.
