I can think of no Pros. The con is the annoying whistle.
The TBS and been a debate forever of whether or not it is "snake oil".
The street trucks with light wheels will tell you that it took .01 off their 0-60 run time and show absolutely no gain on a dyno.
But, this is from 3 years of reading about them. I have actually never had one. Maybe someone that has had one can chime in.

Tbs

I have the AirRaid, don't really feel the diff, but then again I added the CAI at the same time, now this whistle thingy is a bit disturbing, I don't hear it at all, never have, even pulled the cover to make sure I had it on the right way and I know I did just for the fact of the orings only work the one way. Really don't know and if I did log it when I do have the stuff to do it, not sure I could pin a gain on that alone or the CAI and it combined.

I'm with shifty on this one. I've read 3 years of post and cannot find where it does anything..... Not better gas mileage nor any better gains. I think it's a waste of 100.00. Even at some of the meets as well as the stillen meet where some of the guys had them in their truck with no better numbers on the dyno. All the people I've talked to that put them in said it has done nothing.... So with this said I'd put the 100.00 in the gas tank or save for a rainy day...

I've never had to ride for a long trip with one but i did get to hear it at one of the meets. Sounds kinda cool actually. Very similar to a supercharger. But, I guess it could get annoying after awhile.
