New Titan Exhaust Option

MBRPinc. is now shipping the new performance exhaust system for the 2004-2007 Nissan Titan 5.6L Crew Cab. MBRP Inc Performance Exhaust - NEW SITE! GMC Chev Ford Dodge Chevy 6.6LT Duramax 4 Performance Diesel Exhaust 4" Turbo Back 6.0LT Powerstroke 7.3LT PowerStroke Power stroke 5.9 LT Dodge Cummins 6.0 Litre 7.3 LT 6.6 Litre

The first of a full line of MBRPinc. products and accessories for Nissan, the Titan cat-back system is constructed of the very best T304 stainless steel carrying a lifetime warranty. Mandrel bent tubes with minimized bend degree angles provide for maximum airflow and performance with a deep, mellow exhaust tone. Mirror-polished, dual-walled 3.5” exhaust tips complete the system for a complete exhaust package with a beautiful appearance.

I sent an E-mail asking about price and the possibility of a picture of the system..

Never heard of them, but then again who heard of PRG before they bought a Titan and looked at a Titan forum.

I don't want an exhaust for now, it will be my very last mod. A small part of the reason is the exhaust debate. There seems to be two big ones, (but I've only read a couple of threads in the last 3 years so maybe there are other big issues).

1) Single vs. dual
2) 1.5"??? vs. 2.5" diam. some claim the Endurance needs back pressure.

3) Any new ones?

Even if I wanted an exhaust right away, who do you trust? Of course (90% are more concerned about the sound. Lol
Or HP gains, (I've got more than enough).
I want the one with the best MPG So custom paint might even be higher on the mod want list. Lol

Btw, if you are looking for HP/Torque gains, some claim the 2% timing advance is the best bang for the buck. Wonder if a 2% timing retard will give me better MPG? Lol

Martin Barkey Racing Products, nice! they've certainly made a name for themselves in the diesel trucking world. they also have a few designs in the muffler that are an industry first. i now recall reading an article about them last year in one of my offroad porcelain literature pieces on how they developed a quiet muffler. can't remember exactly how they did it but i do recall them claiming there was absolutely zero drone or at least the magazine test guys saying there was no drone whatsoever. i'm not in the market for an exhaust system but i'm totally curious as to how bad@ss it sounds w/o any drone present.

and as far as backpressure goes, ever since i put the Banks on, i've been able to smoke my tires and they're 35"ers too! then again they are a harder less stickier rubber compound but hell they are bigger in diameter over stock and if i slam the gas, dem bFGs will squeal!!!

Here's the response to my E-mail so it looks like we'll be able to get some first hand information for those of you interested.

Good morning Timothy and thank you for your interest in our newest exhaust system addition! We do have photos available of this system. I am forwarding a form to you (in a separate email) which will give you access to the photos on our website of this system - if you could please fill it out and return it to us?
We do have a system that is ready to be released to production for the Toyota Tundra as well and I will send you info as soon as that one has been officially released.
I am the official forum person here at MBRP and have visited your website. It is very well set up and the forums look interesting and informative. I have only been a visitor but will be registering soon. I will send your question regarding the other vehicles to the president of our company to let him know the interest that is out there. You never know what we’ll build until you ask!
Again, thanks for contacting us and please keep in touch…..

"deep, mellow exhaust tone. Mirror-polished, dual-walled 3.5” exhaust tips" this sounds like the exhaust for me, especially if it has little to no drone. When can we see pics and how much will it cost?
