What is the Best CAI for the Titan?

I just bought my Titan about two months ago and I am looking into putting some aftermarket performance parts on it. I just ordered the banks exhaust and now I want to get the CAI. Any preferences?

I'm not sure exactly what he is talking about, but AEM,K&N,AirRaid,Volant all produce similar numbers when paired with a good exaust. I think it boils down to what you think looks better.

Like Tillery said the numbers for Torque and HP on the Brand Name intakes (Volant, AEM/FramBoost, K&N, etc,) are so close that if it was me I'd either get the one I like the looks of or the one I can get the best deal on. I have the Banks and Fram boost/AEM (They are pretty much the same except for the tube color) and I couldn't be happier. If you do get the AEM or Fram boost I have a nice install write up here, http://www.titantruckz.com/kb/index.php?article=8 .

Welcome to the site and I look forward to reading your post.

If there was one out there that gave you huge gains, the others would copy it! they all produce about the same. 1hp or 1fptrq isn't going to make a big difference. Go with the one you like the most!

The big thing between the CAI is dry filter or oil filter.

if you get the JBA headers, you'll need to go with an Injen intake cause according to test results it balances out the A/F ratio the best.

I've had my Fram Boost for several months now. It adds the sound that I was looking for as well as the dry filter bonus. If I could change one thing, it would be the size of the tube opening in the heat shield. A smaller opening would have worked and cut down on the amount of warm air getting into the intake.
Quality is excellent and it has a life time warranty.
