Now...if you have a Rich running truck...and you can lean that up to a safe AFR. Yes it will increase power and fuel economy....IF...and only IF you drive the same as you did before.

If you like the new power....and you use it......fuel economy will go down due to the heavy foot syndrom!
Thanks. I was alway curious about those guys getting 10 mpg. Sounds like they could be helped if FFV, but if not, a S&B might help them.

Maybe UpRev could help them too ... I seem to remember multiple maps or settings, so one could run an economy mode, as well as a high performance/track mode.

Howdy rabbim! Welcome to the site and I'm looking forward to a writeup and pics of your new intake. This is a new one to a lot of us (Me) who seem to have the Fram Boost (Mine), AEm or Volant.

WOT= Wide Open Throttle: VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!

MAF= Mass Air Flow: it's a sensor that plugs into the intake that measures the amount of air flow and then sends a signal to the ECM= Engine Control Module which tells the fuel injectors how much fuel to spray into the combustion chamber.
