Question I need help...flashing air-bag light

DUH! I SHOULD HAVE READ THE STICKY ABOVE...THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE POSTED THIS THREAD........

I pulled the center stack control panel to access the radio.

The passenger side air-bag warning light was part of the the control stack.

The main air-bag warning (idiot) light on the instrument panel is now flashing.

I pulled the neg battery cable and left it off for a half hour. I cleaned the terminals while I was at it. I then reconnected the neg terminal.

The warning light is still flashing. I checked with my Scan Gauge and and no codes show.

Any idea on how I can reset the warning light? I'm quite certain that nothing was damaged nor were any cables mis-connected.

Help!

:
1)turn ignition switch from off to on
2)within 1 second after the aribag light starts to flash---immeditely turn the ignition off
3)after ignition is off, wait for more than 5 seconds
4)then repeat steps 1 through 3---do all steps 3 times
5)turn the ignition on, and the airbag sensor should go off and not flash anymore

OOPs! I have no idea how I missed the sticky on the air-bag problem I just experienced.

I followed the procedure and it cured the flashing the first time I tried it!

Thanks folks.
