Just had to replace a silverstar on the drivers side. Just remove one screw and pull the flap back, unplug the connector and twist the bulb out of it's socket.
With Silverstars you get to do it every year or two so you don't forget the proceedure!

Speaking of headlights and stupid designs. I had a bulb burn out on the Dodge so I pulled into Auto Zone and bought one. Unfortunately, you have to drop the liner, remove a nut on the back of the housing, two on the front, then literally remove the lens to get to the bulb because of where the wiper fluid and radiator overflow is located. Do you have any idea how many times you get stopped in 100 miles with a burned out headlight? 6, LOL.

Back in the "good ole days" before, fuel injection, ABS, Power Brakes, Power Steering, HIDs, Halogens, computers, electronic ignition, etc. you could actually crawl into the engine compartment and sit on the fender wells to work on the engine. Of course, things broke more often and you needed the room to work. Now days, things last longer and we have more packed into the car.
