That looks like a very solid mount at a good price. I can see some of the guys getting one of those chromed or even powder-coated to match their truck. It looks like it is bare steel so would need to be painted at the very least, or it would rust pronto.

I see on their site, that they have mounts for double and triple battery set-ups.

Thanks, we also offer a Dual and a Triple Mount. I'm trying to get my hands on a Odyssey Battery to make up a mount for it.

There you go! When it comes time to upgrade, I'm getting an Odyssey but it definitely needs a good mount, it's one heavy MOFO.

looks nice and all but i don't see how its mounted in the titan engine bay? i'd like to see how its mounted in and what hardware is used, etc. that is more important than how it looks around a battery, because if its just the 4 bolts used to bottom mount i'd have reasons to be concerned due to the weight of optima and odyssey batteries. i've seen the inner fender wall of where the battery would be mounted get bent down from the battery weight. its pretty thin metal there and very malleable so i'd think other attachment points would be recommended.

The man did say once he obtained one of the batteries, he was going to see about fabricating a mount. Perhaps at that point, he will add additional holes to mount to vertical surface of the inner fender too.

hopefully, but also note the odyssey at 69 lbs is a pig of a battery and the optimas are around 60 lbs. so you can see my concern as to another point at which the mount should be able to be mounted as you suggested. hopefully arctec can do it!

Thumbs up

Just weighed the yellow top 34/78 series Optima on our digital shipping scale. 44 lbs. Due to the Optima being a dry cell there is no need to worry about position of mounting! If you want to mount it on the firewall with the posts horizontal instead of vertical, no worries! As long as you use sufficient size washers behind the mount so as to not buckle the material that you are mounting to I can't see any problem.

but that ain't nuthin' compared to the aforementioned heavy-arse odyssey.....damn thing almost takes 2 guys to lift back into place on a lifted truck. And Hoolie's is LIFTED way up there too! lol
