In need of pics and/or service manual for installing Sirius

I'm a visual guy so I need pics!!

I'm looking under my dash and it's a bit daunting to attempt but I want to know what I'm looking at. I see a black box directly underneath my gas pedal, then what I'm guessing is the XM tuner, with the amp directly behind that? Does that sound correct?

I'm looking for pictures detailing how to remove the XM tuner so I can install the Sirius version.

I have an 08 with RF, and adjustable pedals if that make a difference.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Yeah I actually got the entire manual from another site and DL'ed it, although it didn't help. I was told by a professional installer on $#*&$$#@ to not bother removing the XM tuner and just installing the Sirius up under the dash as it is more of a pain getting the bracket back in than it is removing it.

I didn't think about attaching it to the knee bracket until Squid mentioned it in another thread. Great idea, thanks Squid!

I don't know what the PI is talking about it being a big pain. 4 screws (5mm if I remember right), antenna and power plug-in is all that has to be done, the bracket is already in place from the OEM and well hold either OEM tuners. I've seen write ups posted before about fastening it to the knee bracket, not for me. It was no big deal to do it right, no rattles or problems of any kind. JMHO, your truck, your call. Good luck and post pictures of your project when done.

Not sure about your truck but mine is an 08 and the
BCM is attached to it so it makes it difficult to get my hands in there, much less get a screwdriver in there. Thats why I was asking for pics because mine seems to be much more difficult than everyone elses.
