With the Queens house came a 40' by 22' old barn full of junk and since the couple I bought it from were elderly I said "don't worry about the junk I'll take care of it", big mistake. For 7 years I've avoided this barn like the plague but the time has come that I finally have to get dirty.
One of the many things I do is woodworking. First it started as just a necessity in order to restore the Queens Victorian but as I did it more I found that I had a knack for it and I really liked doing it so over the years I've acquired more and more tools that I'm now to the point that my 2 car garage is stuffed.
Back to the barn.
After a lot of looking and pricing I decided that the old barn was really in pretty good shape and when I analyzed my needs would work great with just a little bit of sweat. One side has a 22' X 18' concrete floor so I'll put in a garage Door where you see the window now and that will be where I will store the tractor, Tillers, Riding Lawnmower etc, until I'm done with the Queens house. In January I'm having central heat and air put in so when I'm no longer shackled to the Queens mansion I'll use that side for my other passion restoring old vehicles.
