Kingoftheroad. To a certain extent you are wrong. The continued existence of the Titan will depend on the health of Nissan in general. In part, the major venture of the Leaf into the market will impact Nissan. Just two years ago, Nissan tried to foist the manufacturing of the Titan off to Chrysler so it could concentrate on auto lines. So far, the Titan hasn't even been a pimple on the Pick-up truck sales. Ford F150 is the King of the Heap. Besides my original post made no attempt to compare Leaf and Titan. I did compare how each met MY needs. YMMV!

True Americans have always liked bigger autos; until gas hit over $4 a gallon. If Titan sales drop to a point where it isn't economical to continue making them; Nissan will cut the umbilical cord and Titans will cease to exist. You know it can happen, look at Pontiac for example.
