Regarding Squid's comment on mixing compounds and rotors. I think that if you get the rotors turned you could change to different pads without a problem. This turning process would remove all the pad material that had been imbedded in the rotor surfaces. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't replace my rotors unless I was going to a higher performance rotors such as the "big brakes" on the later model Titans.

I wonder if anyone has done any experimentation with a different brake booster or valving systems to improve pedal feel.
