It got me wondering when it would pay for me to buy a little gas miser, park it in the big city and just drive my truck back and forth from it and here's what I came up with. (Due to driving at night out here in the country. Deer, Cows and Horses mandate me driving a large vehicle for the sake of my life.)
33 gallons of Diesel at $7.80 Gallon = $257 a week- $1028 a month
Since I figure I can find a little car that will double the MPG of my truck with no problem I then came up with this.
16.5 Gallons of gas at $7 a Gallon = $115.5 a week - $462 a month for fuel.
To recap,
Truck $1028 a month
Itty Bitty car $462 a month
Not a pretty sight huh? | Defiantly food for thought. Sad but true. |
